- Awarded Prof. J.K. Trivedi Life Time Achievement Award, the most prestigious Award given by Indian Psychiatric Society for a senior psychiatrist (2018). This was received from Hon. Governor of the state of Uttara Pradesh, Shri Ram Lal at Lucknow. The first psychiatrist from the Telugu-speaking States to receive this award. The Gold medal and cash is of worth Rs. 80,000.

- Started 16 bedded private psychiatric nursing home – “MANASA” in August, 1980 which was first of its kind for the neighboring 4 districts. The Hospital has now 50 beds. This has been the “largest Private Psychiatric Hospital run by a single psychiatrist” in the State of Andhra Pradesh (Now daughter, Dr. Manasa, has joined the practice). The hospital has all Modern psychiatric facilities and has been equipped with Computerised Record maintenance system since 1987. To date, 1,47,000 outpatients (new cases) visited the hospital. Manasa Hospital has a library with 12,000 titles on various subjects and a digital library with more than 12,000 e-books. Manasa Hospital is the training centre for 4 nursing schools and Psychology and Social Work P.G. Students of Adikavi Nannaya University.
