NPTEL Courses

Megastar is the highest recognition of NPTEL. It is awarded to candidates who top in at least six courses out of eight or more successfully completed in a semester.
Dr. Rama Reddy Karri has been a Megastar for three consecutive semesters since the inception of this category. Not declared officially yet, but gained the eligibility to be recognized as a Megastar for this fourth consecutive semester, too.

Discipline Star is awarded to candidates who have completed 50 weeks of learning in a particular discipline with a final score of ≥55 in each course.
Dr. Rama Reddy Karri has been awarded the Discipline Star twice.

Superstar is awarded to candidates who have appeared in at least four courses and secured topper positions in a minimum of three courses in a semester. It is a level below Megastar.
Dr. Rama Reddy Karri was recognized as a Superstar prior to the introduction of the Megastar category.

NPTEL Enthusiast is awarded to candidates who have appeared in at least eight examinations across four semesters and passed in at least 75% of them.
Dr. Rama Reddy Karri achieved this recognition early in his NPTEL journey.

Motivated Learner is awarded to candidates who have appeared in at least eight examinations across four semesters, passed at least 75% of them, and appeared in at least one exam in each semester.
Dr. Rama Reddy Karri has also been awarded this recognition.

NPTEL Evangelist is awarded to candidates who have appeared in at least half of the examinations conducted over the last four years (eight semesters).
Dr. Rama Reddy Karri has been recognized as an NPTEL Evangelist.
